What's The Criteria???

The PAT looks at a bunch of different skills that a service dog should have in real-life situations. Some of the main things they assess include: how the dog walks on a leash (no pulling or lunging) how the dog behaves around people and distractions whether the dog stays calm in busy environments how the dog reacts to things like noises, food, or other animals whether the dog listens to the handler’s commands Basically, it’s all about seeing if the dog can handle normal public situations without causing problems.
